A shocking collision on the RD612
This morning, a spectacular accident occurred on the RD612 near the Agde karting circuit. Two vehicles collided head-on at high speed, causing a real disaster which required emergency services.
Hérault firefighters quickly intervened at the scene of the accident. The toll is heavy, with a total of six victims to deplore. Among these, three people in the first vehicle are in absolute emergency.
Victims evacuated urgently
The injured were evacuated using helicopters, notably the Dragon 34 and the Sinus Hélico, to hospitals in Montpellier and Béziers. Readers should note that the victims were members of the same tourist family, aged 21, 50 and 53, respectively.
At present, the exact circumstances of this collision remain unclear, but an investigation is underway to determine the causes of this tragic accident.
